The incumbent will be responsible for fabric planning and merchandising. He/she will ensure that fabric / trims / protos / salesman samples are developed to meet the companys requirements and adequate quotations are negotiated and obtained to achieve business objectives - also follow up on development. He/she will coordinate with venders/factories for sample and material development to ensure proto that meet design and technical requirements are submitted on time for review/meetings and liaise with factories to ensure bulk order production to be delivered on time and find alternatives/solutions to maintain delivery, if problem arise. He/she will diagnose production and quality problem and work with vender or factory to provide suggestions to manager for evaluations and assist manager by collecting related information for analysis and planning so correct action can be taken to achieve company goals. The task will cover the review of quotation, capacity planning and factory allocation, quota reservation and movement whenever required, sourcing activities - new and potential factories, and monitor order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality, order specification and delivery dates requirements.
