Job Purpose:
Implement Sourcing Strategy
Implement Purchasing strategy and policies.
Responsibilities in relation to the purchase of goods and services, cost-effectiveness and meeting the user requirement.
Responsibility for selecting new suppliers, handle price negotiations, procurement process, and delivery planning to meet user requirements.
Develop the procurement process, prepare all documentation and conditions of payment to the supplier.
Handle the purchasing process to meet user requirements, and in regards to the budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare annual budget planning.
Forecast purchasing needs.
Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Handle pricing negotiations, service contracts of new vendors to get better prices and deals.
Review quotations.
Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in ccordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
Track Purchasing activity and measurements.
Control the quality of goods and services.
Manage vendor relationships to building effective partnerships.
Help to lower the cost and secure agreements.
Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.
